Little Background

Little background on this project… The RV-8 is a two seat taildragger, capable of aerobatics and cruise speeds of around 180 knots. It is sold as a kit and takes most people around 1500-2000 hours to complete. (Not a small or fast project) Unlike production airplanes, the RV will be issued a special airworthiness certificate in the experimental category which allows the builder (me) to construct and modify the airplane how I’d like. (Provided it’s done safely) I can’t wait to get going on this and will keep this page updated with progress.
