This project started when I was in 5th grade and advanced every year until my last year in high school. It involved designing, building, and competing with an underwater robot. The team’s last year of the competition, we built our most advanced robot, BRIAN, which featured custom components such as the frame, propellers, PCBs, waterproof enclosure, control and telemetry software, and control station. Our senior year of high school, we placed 2nd in the college division of the international competition, beating out over 30 other college level teams.
